Surely there's someone we could complain too! I'm really not happy about the situation, at least if they are going to put a bus through the estate ask the people opinion who will be effected and sending a double decker is just taking the mick! - the road are just too small!

We didn't realise it was going to be such a regular service either. I've yet to see a bus with more than 3 people on it.

Was at home today and watched lorries and the AMRC traffic shooting up and down all day and now a double decker past the house every 15 minutes. It's like a main road now

It's much better with the bus running through the estate, much more convenient. It's good to see the estate taking shape and things happening like the school, local centre and now the bus now that the main road route is complete through the estate.

Wonder if we can campaign to get the tram on here, that would be amazing 😉

When we moved in we were told there were plans to bring the tram up here.

Yes you may find it more convenient , but I doubt you have a double decker passing your house every 2 minutes ... I wasn't made aware when I bought my house that it would be made into a bus route! Absolutely joke the bus stop was a 5-10 minute walk max.. I too like to see Waverley develop as I love this estate but don't appreciate the bus driving past all day and night.

The bus service is about the one thing on the master plan that they've actually delivered! Highfield Spring might only be 5 minutes walk away but would you feel safe getting off the bus in the dark next to those bushes if you were a vulnerable person? And before you ask...yes it does go right past my front door and I don't have a problem with it.

2 buses an hour at peak times and once hourly after 18:30 There's twice as many buses as that - it's in both directions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Empty buses. Hardly anyone on them so still far too many. Always bugged me how buses are pushed as the environmentally friendly option when many are carrying 1-2 people. More polluting by far.

Anyone who is stupid enough to be too young to drive or vulgar enough to only have one car should be made to wait at least 2 hours for a bus.

I do believe everyone is entitled to their opinion without anyone else jumping down there necks for expressing it in a reasonable manor if they don't agree..
No I don't feel it is a unreasonable distance to travel to original the bus stops , I have done this journey many times myself ... also when it is dark. I am also a woman if that's what you class as vulnerable
Yes I agree 2 double decker busses each way per a hour is ridiculous
No it isn't like pond street or central London however I wouldn't choose to move to these areas for this reason yet could I afford a house in London. The buses running around the estate to me was a ideal as you didn't have every tom dick and harry looking through your bedroom window 6.30 till midnight.

When we were at the meeting, the chap from First seemed pretty open to ideas. To be fair, he even said 'if you don't want it, we won't do it'. What if the bus only went through the estate 7am-7pm, the peak times when it runs every half hour.. Then those of us on the route can have some peace in early morning/late evening. We could all make the suggestion to them?

Do you have the details of the chap from first please.. Thank you
